AI Filmmaker / AI Video Producer

We're hiring an AI Filmmaker / AI Video Producer to join Ethereal Labs full-time in Bengaluru.

This is an in-office role for someone who understands filmmaking, AI video tools, storytelling, editing, and visual taste. You'll work closely with the founding team to create AI-generated films, trailers, ads, reels, product videos, and visual prototypes.

This is not a simple editing role.

This is for someone who can think like a filmmaker, execute like a creator, and experiment like a builder.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for creating AI-first video content from idea to final output.

Your work will include:

• Creating AI-generated short films, trailers, ads, reels, and concept videos

• Turning rough ideas/scripts into strong visual sequences

• Writing prompts for AI image and video generation

• Building visual consistency across characters, locations, costumes, and mood

• Creating cinematic vertical videos for mobile-first platforms

• Editing videos with strong pacing, emotion, sound, and transitions

• Experimenting with new AI video workflows and tools

• Creating moodboards, storyboards, shot references, and visual treatments

• Working closely with founders on prototypes, product content, and marketing videos

• Improving output quality through iteration, taste, and attention to detail

We're looking for someone who has:

• Strong visual taste and storytelling sense

• Good understanding of cinematic framing, lighting, camera movement, pacing, and mood

• Hands-on experience with AI video/image tools

• Ability to create polished videos from scratch

• Strong editing skills

• Good prompt-writing ability

• Understanding of short-form content, reels, ads, trailers, and mobile-first video

• Ability to work fast, iterate quickly, and take feedback well

• Curiosity to test new tools and build repeatable AI video workflows

• Ownership mindset and startup energy

Who This Role Is Not For

This may not be the right fit if you only want a fixed editing role with clear instructions every time.

This role needs someone who can take initiative, suggest ideas, experiment, fail fast, and improve outputs without waiting for perfect briefs.
