Full Stack Developer -Forward-Deployed AI Engineer – GenAI Applications
Role Overview
As a
Forward-Deployed AI Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end development and deployment of GenAI applications powered by Adobe and third-party generative AI models. Acting as an embedded AI expert within customer teams, you will rapidly prototype solutions, validate use cases, and co-develop production-grade features that deliver measurable business value.

What You'll Do
Collaborate & Innovate
- Partner with Technical Architects, Engagement Managers, and Product teams to identify customer needs and define high-impact use cases
- Facilitate technical workshops and co-create tailored GenAI solutions aligned with business goals
- Translate complex AI capabilities into practical, customer-facing applications
Rapid Prototyping
- Embrace an AI-first experimentation mindset—develop proof-of-concepts in days, not weeks
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback to deliver fast, tangible wins
- Apply UX/UI best practices to create intuitive and engaging experiences
End-to-End Engineering
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack applications and microservices
- Integrate Adobe technologies such as Firefly APIs, GenStudio for Performance Marketing, and the Common Extensibility Platform
- Work with headless CMS architectures and modern frontend frameworks to deliver scalable solutions
Bridge Field Insights to Product
- Capture real-world use cases and customer feedback
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and enhance Adobe Firefly capabilities
Automate & Scale
- Build reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and governance checks to ensure consistent and reliable delivery
- Champion scalable, repeatable deployment patterns
Operate with Agility
- Own delivery sprints and adapt quickly to evolving AI technologies and customer needs
- Work seamlessly across on-site and remote environments
- Solve ambiguous, high-impact challenges with speed and creativity

- Document best practices, prompts, architectures, and reusable patterns

What You Bring
Full-Stack Engineering Expertise- 3+ years of experience building and launching production-grade software
- Strong proficiency in modern frameworks and technologies:
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Angular
- Backend: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot)
- APIs: REST, GraphQL
- Core: HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML
AI-Native Mindset
- Passionate about experimenting with AI in everyday workflows
- Continuously exploring emerging models, tools, and trends across the GenAI ecosystem
- Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-powered applications
Adobe Ecosystem Experience
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud APIs/SDKs, CEP, and Firefly Services APIs
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Workfront Fusion, AJO), or similar platforms
Cloud & DevOps Proficiency
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent)
Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders
- Skilled at guiding customers through technical decisions aligned with business objectives
