Role: Technical Lead — PropTech Automation Platform
Type: Contract · 15–20 hrs/week (Phases 1–4), tapering to 8–10 hrs thereafter

About the role
We are building an AI-powered prop-tech automation platform covering lead qualification, omni-channel outreach (voice agent, WhatsApp, email), investor profiling, project matching, and an investor portal with mobile app.
The tech stack is intentionally lean: GoHighLevel CRM, n8n for orchestration, VAPI + ElevenLabs for voice AI, Claude API for intelligence, and React/Next.js for the investor portal frontend.
Most code is generated using Claude Code (AI coding agent). Your job is to architect, review, deploy, and debug — not write every line from scratch. Think of yourself as an engineering director supervising an AI developer.
What you will do
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure: deploy n8n on Railway or Render, configure Supabase for the investor portal database, manage environment variables and API keys securely
- Review and deploy code produced by Claude Code — React/Next.js investor portal, API integration scripts, RAG pipeline for the knowledge base
- Integrate all external APIs: GHL webhooks, VAPI, ElevenLabs, WhatsApp Business API (360Dialog), Razorpay, Google Calendar
- Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline (simple GitHub Actions setup is sufficient)
- Debug production issues — when something breaks at 10pm, you need to be reachable
- Set up Google Looker Studio dashboards connected to GHL data exports
- Guide the automation intern on n8n workflow architecture and GHL configuration
- Advise the founder on technical decisions: database choice, hosting provider, API selection
Must have
- 2–4 years of experience in full-stack development (Node.js or Python backend, React or Next.js frontend)
- Comfortable deploying applications to cloud platforms (Railway, Render, AWS, or similar)
- Experience integrating REST APIs and building webhook-based systems
- Familiarity with environment management, secrets, and basic security practices
- Self-directed — can work independently without daily oversight
- Responsive over WhatsApp and Slack
Nice to have
- Prior experience with n8n, Make (Integromat), or similar automation platforms
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel CRM
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Supabase pgvector) or RAG pipelines
- React Native for mobile app development (Phase 5)
- Previous work with real estate or fintech startups
