Job Title: Data Scientist – Agentic AI
Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid)
Experience: 2+ years relevant Data Science / Applied ML (mandatory)
Role Overview
The Data Scientist will contribute hands-on to building agentic components, RAG pipelines, and evaluation harnesses under guidance from senior team members, ensuring clean code and delivery discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop agent components: tool wrappers/function calling, retrieval connectors, and prompt templates.
- Support Agentic RAG build: ingestion, chunking/embeddings, retrieval and re-ranking integrations.
- Execute evaluation runs and document failure modes; improve groundedness and retrieval quality through iteration.
- Write clean Python code with Git discipline; assist in packaging for deployment (APIs/services).
- Support documentation and handover activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years Data Science / Applied ML (or equivalent research/engineering experience).
- Mandatory: hands-on exposure to agentic AI prototypes or components (tool calling and/or retrieval/RAG and/or evaluation).
- Strong Python; working SQL; basic testing and documentation discipline.
- Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) desirable; willing to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
