Job Description: AI Engineer

Skaps Industries Pvt. Ltd. is hiring AI engineering team member to build and own the foundational AI platform, automation infrastructure, and analytics backbone for the organization. This role is internal-facing and systems-focused, working closely with the AI Manager to enable scalable, secure, and reusable AI capabilities across operations, HR, finance, EXIM, and IT.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the core AI and automation platforms at Skaps. The engineer will focus on model lifecycle management, AI infrastructure, workflow automation, and analytics enablement, ensuring architectural robustness and long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain AI model lifecycle workflows (versioning, deployment, monitoring)

Implement MLOps best practices for internal AI systems

Build reusable AI and automation frameworks

Develop and maintain Power Automate, SharePoint, and ERP integrations

Support Power BI datasets and analytics pipelines

Ensure platform reliability, security, and documentation

Required Skills

Strong Python and SQL skills

Experience with automation platforms (Power Automate preferred)

Understanding of model lifecycle and MLOps concepts

Experience building scalable internal systems

Ability to work independently with high ownership

Good-to-Have Skills

ERP integrations

SharePoint architecture knowledge

Power BI data modeling

CI/CD or cloud ML exposure
