Overview About Ripik.AI
Ripik.ai is a fast-growing industrial AI SAAS start-up founded by IIT D/ BITS alumni and with extensive experience inMcKinsey, IBM, Google and others. It is backed by marquee VC funds like Accel, Venture Highway and 25+ illustrious angels including 14 unicorn founders.
Ripik.ai builds patented full stack software for automation of decision making on the factory floor. Today, they are deployed at more than 15 of the largest and most prestigious enterprises in India including the market leaders in steel, aluminum, cement, pharma, paints, consumer goods and others.
It is one of India's very few AI product start-ups to be a partner to GCP, Azure and AWS. We are also the AI partner of choice for CII, ICC and NASSCOM.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end AI pipelines for computer vision, including model training, optimization, and assist in building end-to-end AI pipelines for computer vision tasks, such as model training, basic optimization, and integration with edge/cloud setups under senior guidance.
- Support replication and scaling of AI models in production environments, focusing on real-time performance testing in industrial settings.
- Collaborate with field and engineering teams on AI deployments, helping with hardware/network integration and tool setup.
- Participate in code reviews, learn MLOps best practices, and contribute to model versioning with mentorship.
- Analyze production data to identify issues, support model improvements, and help reduce downtime.
- Develop basic ML pipelines, deploy simple models to production, and monitor performance metrics.
- Work with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions for business problems.
- Document models, experiments, and results for team and stakeholder reviews.
- Retrain models as needed and test for robustness in controlled environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's in computer science, AI, or related field.
- 1+ years in computer vision (e.g., object detection, segmentation, or anomaly detection via projects/internships).
- Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV; familiarity with edge AI tools like TensorRT or ONNX.
- Experience with industrial datasets or IoT (e.g., manufacturing like cement/steel a plus).
- Basic knowledge of system design for on-prem/cloud hybrids; hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS/Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn; good communication for team demos and updates.
Interview Process
- The selection process includes an AI Hackathon featuring four problem statements to assess practical and problem-solving skills, followed by two rounds of interviews.
