AI Engineer

The Open Access Technology International (OATI) is seeking motivated individuals to join our AI Engineering team supporting powersystem applications. This role provides the opportunity to apply foundational machinelearning and programming knowledge to realworld energysector challenges under the guidance of senior engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing machinelearning and neuralnetwork models for forecasting, anomaly detection, TexttoSQL tasks, and datadriven analysis.
• Support the development and deployment of agentic AI components using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Assist in implementing retrievalaugmented generation (RAG) pipelines that integrate external knowledge sources and vector databases.
• Support finetuning and evaluation of large language models using supervised techniques such as PEFT/LoRA and promptengineering strategies.
• Assist in implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) communication and longterm memory mechanisms for AI agents.
• Support model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using tools such as MLflow and distributed inference frameworks.
• Participate in data preparation, preprocessing, experimentation, and evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate models, validate results, and support productdevelopment activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Python and machinelearning concepts.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and neuralnetwork fundamentals.
• Ability to learn new tools and frameworks with guidance.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Coursework or academic projects involving machine learning, LLMs, RAG, or data engineering.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with Git or SQL/NoSQL databases.
