As a Manager within PwC's People Technology group, you will work with a crossfunctional team of software engineers and data practitioners based in our Acceleration Centers (AC) in India or Mexico. You'll apply your deep softwareengineering expertise in Python and Java to design, build, and deploy AIenabled solutionssuch as intelligent agents for upskilling, workflow automation, and employeeexperience platformswhile championing modern engineering practices and rapid adoption of emerging AI frameworks.
You will partner closely with USbased product owners and architects to translate business requirements into scalable, cloudnative services that deliver measurable value, all while fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Architect, develop, and deploy microservices and APIs in Python and Java that integrate AI/ML models, vector databases, and agentorchestration libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Roadmapping
- Collaborate with product owners to refine backlogs, estimate effort, and prioritize features that deliver maximum business impact.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and pilot emerging AI frameworks, agent toolkits, and LLMpowered services; rapidly prototype proofofconcepts and scale successful experiments.
- Contribute to firmwide engineering standards, reusable libraries, and bestpractice documentation.
Minimum Years of Experience
8-13 years of professional softwareengineering experience.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Expertlevel coding skills in Python and Java, with strong familiarity in at least one additional language (Go, TypeScript, or C#).
- Practical knowledge of LLM finetuning, context engineering, and vector search concepts.
- Experience with one or more of agentic frameworks like Langgraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, etc.
- Handson experience with cloudnative architecture, containerization, and serverless patterns (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).
- Proficiency with data pipelines (Airflow, Spark) and MLOps platforms (Kubeflow, MLflow) is a plus.
- Demonstrated success delivering AI or datadriven products in an agile environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills across time zones.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly learn new frameworks, SDKs, and tooling.
