ABOUT THE ROLE

The Central AI Team builds agentic AI systems that automate and optimize internal team operations at PW, working closely with the business (biz) team. As AI Engineer Intern, you'll build and ship these systems end-to-end — from prototype to a working tool a biz team actually uses.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows for internal ops use cases.

• Integrate LLM APIs (Claude) with internal tools and data sources.

• Build lightweight web interfaces (React/JS) so biz teams can use these tools directly, not just via

scripts.

• Build no-code/low-code automations (n8n) alongside custom Python where needed.

• Test, debug, and iterate on agents based on biz-team feedback.

• Document workflows and track impact (time/cost saved) per use case.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Working knowledge of Python and REST/API integrations.

• JavaScript/React — able to build a working front-end/web app on top of a backend, not just

Python-only dashboards.

• Familiarity with LLM/agent APIs (Claude or similar) and prompt engineering.

• Basic SQL and comfortable working with structured data.

• Exposure to no-code automation tools (n8n, Zapier) or agent frameworks (LangGraph, Claude

Agent SDK) is a plus.

• Curiosity, ownership, and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

Hands-on ownership of production AI systems from day one, direct mentorship from the Central AI

Team, and exposure to how AI gets deployed inside a large-scale ed-tech operation. Potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
