Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Associate AI Engineer to join our AI and Data Science team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Science, or Software Engineering who are eager to work on cutting-edge technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Multimodal AI.
You will work closely with senior engineers, cloud architects, and domain experts to develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions for Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biotechnology, and Enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
AI Development
- Develop GenAI applications using Large Language Models such as Amazon Bedrock, Claude, OpenAI, Llama, Mistral, or similar models.
- Build and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using vector databases and embeddings.
- Create AI solutions capable of processing text, documents, images, tables, and other data formats.
Agentic AI & Automation
- Assist in developing AI agents and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar tools.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and knowledge repositories.
- Participate in designing workflows that automate business and scientific processes.
AI Engineering & Deployment
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Support deployment of AI solutions on AWS cloud environments.
- Assist in containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with emerging AI, LLM, and Agentic AI technologies.
- Participate in proof-of-concepts, internal innovation projects, and customer engagements.
- Contribute to technical documentation, demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, Software Development, or related areas.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI concepts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
- LangChain
- LangGraph
- CrewAI
- OpenAI APIs
- Amazon Bedrock
- Hugging Face Transformers
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Understanding of embeddings and vector databases such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, or OpenSearch.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience involving GenAI, LLMs, AI Agents, or Multimodal AI.
- Experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, EKS, or S3.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
- Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search.
- Experience in React, Vue.js, or other frontend technologies is a plus.
- Exposure to Bioinformatics, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Scientific Computing is desirable.
- Personal projects, GitHub repositories, blogs, hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or open-source contributions related to AI/ML.
