AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Project Manager to lead AI-powered web and digital product initiatives across websites, customer experience platforms, ecommerce ecosystems, and AI-driven applications.

The role combines AI implementation, web project management, product thinking, stakeholder coordination, data workflows, and automation. The ideal candidate should understand how AI technologies can be integrated into digital experiences to improve engagement, conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities -

AI Strategy and Implementation

• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into websites, digital products, customer journeys, and business workflows.
• Lead implementation of AI-led solutions such as:

AI chatbots

Generative AI experiences

AI search

Recommendation engines

AI agents

Personalization systems

Predictive analytics

Workflow automation

• Evaluate AI models, APIs, tools, and platforms based on business requirements.
• Convert business problems into clear AI use cases, product requirements, and execution plans.

• Project Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled web and digital projects.

Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

Coordinate sprint planning, resource allocation, reviews, and release management.

Track risks, blockers, budgets, quality, and delivery timelines.

Maintain project documentation, trackers, and stakeholder updates.

• Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the bridge between AI, tech, product, UX, marketing, data, and business teams.

Work closely with developers, AI engineers, data teams, UX/UI teams, marketing teams, and external vendors.

Translate technical AI concepts into simple business and product requirements.

Ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical execution.

• Data, Vendor, and Governance

Coordinate data collection, structuring, validation, and quality checks for AI workflows.

Manage AI vendor/API integrations, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure AI, and similar platforms.

Work with engineering teams on API orchestration and workflow optimization.

Ensure governance around data privacy, security, compliance, and responsible AI usage.

• Performance and Optimization

Define KPIs for AI features and digital initiatives.

Monitor adoption, engagement, conversion impact, performance, and ROI.

Use analytics, testing, and experimentation to improve AI experiences.

Drive continuous optimization of prompts, workflows, data inputs, and user journeys.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG systems, AI agents, and automation workflows.
• Experience managing web, digital product, technology, or platform-based projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working.
• Understanding of modern web architecture, APIs, CMS, ecommerce platforms, cloud platforms, analytics, and martech tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, timelines, and priorities.
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to simplify technical complexity into clear business action.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in AI-enabled customer experience, web transformation, ecommerce, SaaS, martech, or digital product environments.
• Exposure to AI vendors, analytics platforms, automation tools, personalization systems, or CRM ecosystems will be an advantage.
