Developer
The Role
We're seeking a skilled Full Stack JavaScript Developer to build robust, scalable solutions that
power our legal tech platform. You'll work on everything from real-time lawyer matching systems
to AI-powered legal assistants, directly impacting how millions access legal services.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and Next.js
- Build responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces with React
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) to manage legal data
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
- Implement real-time features for our 24/7 legal helpline (LOTS)
- Collaborate on our AI legal assistant (LAILA) integration
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper testing
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of full stack JavaScript development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Expert knowledge of React and Next.js
- Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and deployment processes
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud preferred)
- Understanding of authentication, security, and data protection
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Real-time systems experience (WebSocket, Socket.io)
- Experience with legal tech, fintech, or compliance-heavy applications
- Mobile app development experience (React Native)
- AI/ML integration experience
- Understanding of Indian payment systems and KYC processes
