GitHub Actions / AI Developer Platform Engineer –

Role: GitHub Actions & Agentic Developer Workflow Engineer

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with GitHub Actions at scale – reusable workflows, composite actions, self-hosted runners, matrix builds, and caching.
• Good knowledge of GitHub Enterprise – organization/repository configuration, rulesets, branch protection, GitHub Apps, and fine-grained tokens.
• Experience building agentic developer workflows that can take an input, modify code, run validations, and create pull requests.
• Hands-on exposure to GitHub Copilot Coding Agent, Copilot CLI, custom instructions/skills, or equivalent agent frameworks.
• Ability to design guardrails and quality checks for AI-generated code.
• Strong build engineering skills across multiple technology stacks and dependency/toolchain management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash and/or PowerShell.

Good to Have:

• MCP server authoring
• Secure software supply chain, SBOM, artifact signing, dependency provenance
• JFrog Artifactory
• Experience productizing internal developer/platform tooling for engineering teams

Interview Focus:

Candidates should be able to explain a workflow they personally built, how they measured reviewer acceptance, and what changes they made after the initial version failed.
