About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented AI/ML Intern to join our dynamic team remotely for a full-time paid internship lasting six months. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world AI and machine learning projects, collaborating closely with our research and development team. The ideal candidate will be eager to implement state-of-the-art algorithms, develop innovative models, and contribute to the advancement of natural language processing and understanding systems. This position is designed for final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related fields who are looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The internship provides exposure to a wide array of AI/ML techniques while fostering skills in research, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be actively pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in Python is essential, along with familiarity with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. A solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques is required, complemented by strong knowledge of data structures and algorithm design. Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks like LangChain or CrewAI is highly desirable. Candidates should also have practical experience in data extraction techniques, web crawling, and developing or fine-tuning AI/ML models, including contributions to research papers. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to thrive in this role. Bonus points will be given to applicants with a demonstrated research record or experience in building language understanding models.
Responsibilities
As an AI/ML Intern at Forage AI, your primary responsibilities will include implementing advanced AI and machine learning algorithms in collaboration with our R&D team. You will stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML and apply innovative techniques to solve complex, real-world problems. Developing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models using Python and popular libraries will be a core part of your work. You will also assist in the development of Natural Language Models (NLM) and Language Understanding Systems (LUS), contributing to the design and optimization of these systems. Participating in brainstorming sessions to foster creative solutions and collaborating across teams to ensure project objectives are met will be essential. Your contributions will directly impact the development of scalable, efficient AI-driven workflows and tools that serve diverse client needs. The role encourages proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and active participation in team discussions to drive innovation.
