AI Developer II

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Developer II to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Azure AI services, and cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building AI-powered applications, document intelligence solutions, machine learning workflows, and scalable Azure-based services. This role will contribute to the development of intelligent automation, AI-driven decision support systems, and enterprise GenAI initiatives.

Scope Of Work & Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Azure AI services.
• Build and optimize prompt engineering frameworks for enterprise Generative AI use cases.
• Develop intelligent document processing solutions using Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Create and maintain machine learning pipelines, model deployment processes, and MLOps workflows.
• Design and develop scalable Python-based backend services and AI integrations.
• Build serverless solutions using Azure Functions and Azure-native services.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise applications, APIs, and business workflows.
• Develop and manage structured and unstructured data solutions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, security, and governance controls for AI applications.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews, testing activities, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, and related transformer architectures
• Prompt Engineering and Generative AI solution development
• Python programming and backend development
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure AI Document Intelligence
• Azure Machine Learning
• Azure Functions
• Azure OpenAI Services
• Experience implementing MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing REST APIs and cloud-based AI services.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search solutions.
• Exposure to AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and intelligent automation platforms.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized AI workloads.
• Understanding of Responsible AI practices, governance, and security controls.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI development frameworks.
