Role Description The AI Designer and Animator is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for creating visually compelling, AI-enhanced digital invitations and animations for weddings and other events. This role includes designing and animating invitation templates, experimenting with AI-driven tools for image and video generation, and adapting layouts and styles to meet client requirements and brand guidelines. The AI Designer and Animator collaborates closely with the design and customer support teams to translate client concepts into polished motion graphics and interactive invitations. Daily tasks involve storyboarding, preparing design assets, refining animations based on feedback, optimizing files for digital delivery, and maintaining consistency across WeTales invitation library. The role also contributes to innovation by testing new AI design features and suggesting improvements to workflows and visual standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in graphic design and animation, including experience with tools such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent motion graphics software.
- Hands-on experience with AI-based design or image/video generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, or similar), and the ability to integrate AI outputs into polished designs.
- Competence in visual storytelling, layout, typography, and color theory tailored to wedding and event aesthetics.
- Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into creative concepts, storyboards, and finished animated invitations.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and file organization for efficient digital delivery via platforms like WhatsApp and other messaging tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with designers, sales, and customer support teams in an on-site environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback and changing client needs.
- Relevant education in design, animation, multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in invitations, events, or wedding design is an advantage.
