Job Summary
Iron Mountain isseeking a Procurement professional who is fluent inAI/Data Science, automations and reporting. We are a Procurement organization in transformation, and are seeking someone who will architect the digital DNA of the department.
In this role, you will be the primary architect of our Digital North Star, leading a ground-up transformation to build an artificial intelligence-first procurement ecosystem. Operating without legacy constraints, you will be responsible for assessing our current manual Source-to-Pay processes, designing a strategic automation roadmap, and implementing intelligent orchestration layers that transform raw spend data into competitive market intelligence. You will join a forward-thinking, collaborative team dedicated to pioneering new operational models and eliminating traditional system inefficiencies from the start.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Design and execute the digital procurement roadmap by conducting maturity assessments of manual workflows, establishing robust data governance for Large Language Models, and leading Request for Proposal processes to select and deploy cutting-edge, artificial intelligence-native technologies.
- Collaborate with Information Technology, data teams, and executive leadership to integrate specialized Source-to-Pay suites, align complex data structures with business goals, and manage organizational change by educating stakeholders on process mapping and data readiness.
- Ensure compliance with global procurement standards, organizational policies, and legal regulations by implementing automated Contract Lifecycle Management tools to monitor risk, perform automatic supplier compliance screenings, and maintain high-fidelity spend categorization.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-8 years of experience in Procurement Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement Analytics, or Data Science. Good experience in AI Automations, reporting, and Insights.
- Strong knowledge of specialized Source-to-Pay suites (such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, ServiceNow, Ivalua, ZipHQ, or Tonkean) and hands-on literacy with Robotic Process Automation, Large Language Models, or Machine Learning plugins.
- Proven ability in process mapping and strategic change management , with a demonstrated capacity to translate complex artificial intelligence concepts into actionable workflows for non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
