We are now hiring our first dedicated sales leader to own and grow relationships with the labs that matter most — physical AI, voice AI, and frontier model builders. This is a category-defining role at the intersection of human intelligence and AI training.
What You'll Own
- Own pipeline and relationships with physical AI and robotics labs — humanoid, autonomous systems, and embodied AI teams building the next generation of intelligent machines
- Drive partnerships with voice AI and speech model teams requiring specialized audio, multilingual, and conversational datasets
- Penetrate frontier AI labs and LLM builders who need RLHF, red-teaming, preference data, and human evaluation at scale
- Manage the full sales cycle: from identifying and qualifying research-side champions to closing with procurement and legal
- Build and execute the GTM playbook for human-in-the-loop verification-as-a-service across US and UK markets
- Own and close 6- to 7-figure contracts; define pricing, packaging, and commercial structure with the founding team
- Own client education, value delivery, and early-stage evangelism — you are the face of Humyn Labs to the labs that will define AI
- Act as the voice of the customer: feed insights back to product and delivery teams to shape our roadmap
What Makes You a Fit
Non-negotiable:
- 1–4 years of recent, hands-on experience selling datasets, annotation services, RLHF pipelines, or model evaluation to AI labs — this is the single most important filter for this role
- Direct relationships within physical AI or robotics labs (e.g., Figure, Physical Intelligence, Apptronik, Boston Dynamics, or similar) and/or voice AI labs (e.g., ElevenLabs, Hume, Cartesia, Deepgram, or similar)
- Familiarity with how frontier labs and applied AI teams procure training data — who the buyers are, how budgets flow, and what a typical deal structure looks like
- Prior experience at a data labeling, RLHF, or AI evaluation vendor — Scale AI, Appen, Surge, Toloka, Labelbox, Datasaur, or similar — strongly preferred
Strong to have:
- 5–10 years total in AI data services, model evaluation, or ML tool sales
- Proven track record closing 6-figure+ contracts (ideally $500K+) with technical buyers — AI labs, MLEs, data heads, research leads
- Experience navigating research-to-procurement sales motions where the technical champion is not the budget holder
- Deep Bay Area network across AI — lab founders, research VPs, ML leads, and procurement heads
- Strong consultative selling instincts: you ask before you pitch, and you build trust before you build pipeline
- Ability to operate as a GM for U.S. growth — setting strategy, hiring behind you, and owning outcomes end to end
