AI Data Annotation - Team Lead

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AI Annotation Team Lead to lead our data annotation team while actively contributing to the annotation process. This is a hands-on role that requires performing word alignment and annotation, along with ensuring high-quality output, reviewing team deliverables, and maintaining productivity across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• 6 hours: Hands-on word alignment and annotation.
• 4 hours: Reviewing completed work, quality assurance, ensuring daily output targets are met, mentoring team members, and managing the team's day-to-day operations.

a) Word Alignment & Annotation

Perform hands-on word alignment and annotation tasks in accordance with project guidelines, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and productivity targets.

b) Team Leadership & Annotation Oversight

Lead and supervise the annotation team, assign tasks, monitor daily productivity, resolve blockers, and ensure the timely completion of annotation projects while actively contributing to the work.

c) Quality Assurance & Review

Review annotated datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, conduct quality checks, provide feedback to team members, and ensure the team's daily output meets the required quality standards.

d) Annotation Standards & Reporting

Maintain annotation guidelines, document edge cases, track team performance, prepare daily progress reports, and ensure adherence to project standards and timelines.

e) Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with AI, product, and engineering teams to understand project requirements, communicate progress, resolve issues, and continuously improve annotation workflows.
