AI Code Evaluation Expert – Rust (Freelancer)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Rust Developer / Code Evaluation Expert to contribute to AI training and evaluation workflows. In this role, you will assess, review, and improve Rust code generated by AI models, ensuring correctness, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI-generated Rust code for correctness, efficiency, and readability
• Identify bugs, logical errors, and performance issues in code snippets
• Provide clear, structured feedback and suggest improvements
• Write and review high-quality Rust code for benchmarking AI outputs
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to refine evaluation guidelines
• Ensure code aligns with Rust best practices, safety, and concurrency standards

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Rust programming
• Strong understanding of ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and concurrency in Rust
• Experience with debugging, testing, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with common Rust frameworks, libraries, and tooling (Cargo, Clippy, etc.)
• Ability to read, review, and critique code with attention to detail
• Prior experience in code review, competitive programming, or open-source contributions is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with AI/ML code evaluation or data annotation projects
• Exposure to multiple programming languages (Python, C++, etc.) for comparative analysis
• Understanding of secure coding practices
