Role Description

The AI Automation Engineer (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered automation solutions that improve process reliability and performance. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, configuring and integrating control systems, and deploying intelligent algorithms to support robotics and automated processes. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, and documenting technical designs and implementation details. The engineer will also monitor system performance, implement improvements, and ensure solutions align with safety, quality, and compliance standards in a remote, distributed work environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Automation and Robotics skills, including experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems.
• Candidates should possess Process Control and Electrical Engineering skills, with familiarity in control systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing issues in complex systems and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Candidates should possess skills in AI/ML concepts and tools, such as algorithm development, model integration into automation workflows, and data-driven optimization.
• Candidates should possess strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, or similar) and experience working with automation frameworks or industrial software platforms.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
