Job Description
We are hiring engineers for aninnovative smart waste management projectinvolving thedesign and automation of FRP waste bins. The role focuses on embeddingAI technologythat enables the bins toautomatically open based on waste type, such as plastic bottles or cans.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and automation ofFRP waste bins
- Assist in developing and integratingembedded AI systems
- Work with sensors, cameras, and auto-opening mechanisms
- Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or strong interest inAI, automation, embedded systems, or IoT
- Willingness to learn and work on hardwaresoftware integration
- Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N3 (mandatory)
- Engineering background or relevant education preferred
Experience
- Experience is not mandatory
- Candidates withrelevant experience in automation, AI, robotics, or embedded systems will be given preference
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic understanding ofAI / image recognition
- Exposure tomicrocontrollers, sensors, or control systems
