We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented AI Automations Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating AI technologies, workflow automation platforms, APIs, and business systems to create scalable, reliable, and secure automation solutions.
This role requires a blend of software engineering, AI implementation, system integration, and process optimization skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation workflows across business functions.
- Integrate AI models, APIs, and enterprise applications to automate repetitive tasks and complex workflows.
- Build automation solutions using platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
- Develop custom integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting languages.
- Implement AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across automation systems.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, automation platforms, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or AI implementation.
- Experience working with workflow automation platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar).
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agents, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience using Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building production AI agents.
- Knowledge of OCR, document intelligence, and intelligent document processing.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience integrating CRM, ERP, HRIS, and productivity platforms.
- Relevant cloud or AI certifications are a plus.
