MindSnack AI Video & Creative Lead

MindSnack is a fast-growing micro-learning app replacing doomscrolling with bite-sized, science-backed lessons. We use psychology, cinematic storytelling, and creative experimentation to drive installs, retention, and revenue.

We're hiring an AI Video & Creative Lead who can build high-performing ad creatives using AI-accelerated workflows. You'll ship fast, iterate aggressively, and create work that grabs attention in the first second.

This is not a corporate design role. It's creative combat.

Compensation: 15,00035,000/month

Location: Koramangala, Bengaluru (Fully in-office)

Environment: High-ownership, high-speed startup. Not 9-to-5 comfort.

Role Summary

You will create AI-powered short-form video ads, visual assets, and motion sequences for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and in-app experiences. Your output is measured by performance metrics and ROInot opinions.

What You'll Work With

  • Creative briefs, performance data, and test hypotheses
  • Scripts, voiceovers, UI mockups, and product footage
  • Competitive research, moodboards, and storyboards

What You'll Ship

  • Scroll-stopping ads (9:16 primary) optimized for performance
  • AI-generated visuals, transitions, and cinematic storytelling sequences
  • Motion pieces showcasing the MindSnack UI and emotional narrative
  • Multiple iterative creative versions based on performance learnings

Responsibilities

  • Build video ads using Runway, Pika, Luma, Sora-style models, etc.
  • Write and refine prompts using Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Flux
  • Edit, composite, and polish assets in Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Figma
  • Create cinematic and UGC-style ad variations
  • Test aggressively, iterate quickly, and reverse-engineer winners
  • Translate psychological insights into visual storytelling

Must-Haves

  • 13 years experience creating AI-driven video or image content
  • Strong taste in visual storytelling, pacing, lighting, and composition
  • Skilled with generative tools (Runway, Pika, Luma, Midjourney, Flux, etc.)
  • Solid technical editing, sound design, and compositing ability
  • Fast execution, data-driven mindset, zero ego in iteration

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience creating paid ads for apps
  • Understanding of performance metrics (watch time, CTR, CAC, ROAS)
  • Motion graphics skills (After Effects or template-based AE workflows)

Not a Fit If You Are

  • Traditional editor/designers without AI workflow experience
  • Slow executors or perfectionists needing hand-holding
  • Aesthetic-focused instead of performance-focused
