Description of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on AI Architect to lead our AI/ML and GenAI solution initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions using GenAI LLM models (GPT, Llama, etc.), Vector databases, and LangChain. The candidate should possess strong skills in Python, Machine learning/Deep learning architecture, NLP, OCR, and & AI platforms like Azure AI, Hugging Face, etc. The candidate will also contribute to pre-sales, lead client technical discussions, and guide the AI competency and product roadmap for internal product initiatives. This role requires a strong mix of technical leadership, hands-on development, client-facing communication, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Solutioning & Architecture
- Architect scalable, production-grade AI/ML and GenAI solutions using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Mistral), LangChain, Vector DBs (e.g., FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate).
- Select and fine-tune LLMs (open-source or proprietary) for customer use cases.
- Build end-to-end pipelines integrating OCR/NLP with AI-driven workflows.
- Design modular and reusable codebases using Python and ML frame
- Provide technical PoCs and solution blueprints for client proposals.
AI & ML Development
- Hands-on development of ML/DL models including supervised, unsupervised, and NLP models.
- Build and optimize AI workflows on Azure/AWS platforms or on-premise using open-source stacks.
- Implement vector search pipelines with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).
- Develop and manage APIs, microservices, and pipelines for AI models.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor junior developers and AI engineers.
- Set up best practices, code quality standards, and model validation/review mechanisms.
- Build and scale internal AI/ML competency through training and CoEs.
Client & Pre-Sales Engagement
- Participate in pre-sales calls, technical discussions, and discovery sessions with clients.
- Translate business needs into AI solutions and communicate technical approaches.
- Create solution decks, effort estimations, and demo prototypes.
Product & Innovation
- Contribute to building AI-based product ideas into MVPs.
- Define and evolve product roadmap and technical architecture.
- Ensure models are designed for scalability, maintainability, and performance
Project and Delivery Management
- Participate and contribute to designing, developing, deploying, documenting, quality assurance, governance, maintenance activities of the project.
- Contribute to projects from the requirements phase to deployment and support and maintenance.
- Participate and contribute to all project phases, including requirements to deployment and support and maintenance.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Core Technical Skills
- Strong experience with GenAI, LLMs (OpenAI GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude, etc.)
- Expertise in LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Hands-on with Python, FastAPI/Flask, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Strong knowledge of NLP, OCR, Transformers, and Embedding models. Experience with Vector Databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, etc.)
- Proficiency with cloud AI platforms: Azure AI, AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI.
- Experience with Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, model fine-tuning & deployment.
- Familiar with MLOps principles, prompt engineering, and CI/CD for AI moCI/CDdels.
- Microsoft technologies and ecosystem, and Azure AI services.
Architectural & Leadership Experience
- 2+ years in a solution architect or tech lead role.
- Experience working with agile teams and managing deliveries.
- Ability to design enterprise-grade AI solutions for real-world scenarios.
Pre-sales & Communication
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of participating in pre-sales, preparing proposals, PoCs, and demos.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts in business terms to non-technical stakeholders.
Product Management Mindset
- Experience in designing BI/AI-driven products or tools.
- Understanding of product lifecycle, market-fit analysis, and MVP strategy.
- Passion to do independent research on new trends & technologies in BI/AI domain and how it can fit to solve specific business problems
Good to Have Skills:
- Exposure to multimodal models (text, image, audio together).
- Familiarity with data governance, model explainability, and AI ethics.
- Experience with AutoML, RLHF, and LLM fine-tuning with PEFT/LoRA.
- Knowledge of tools like Databricks, MLflow, Azure ML, Streamlit.
- Contribution to open-source projects or AI communities.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- Certifications in Azure AI, AWS ML, or Google AI will be an advantage.
