AI Architect

Role Title : AI Architect (Associate Director/ Director)

Location : Chennai

We are looking for an experienced AI Architect with 12–15 years of software engineering experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading engineering teams while architecting AI-powered platforms involving Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LangChain/LangGraph, Agentic AI, OCR/Document AI, Knowledge Graphs, and Intelligent Automation.

This role requires someone who can translate business problems into scalable AI products, mentor engineering teams, establish technical standards, and successfully deliver production-ready AI systems.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader who combines deep software architecture expertise with hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems. They should be equally comfortable reviewing code, designing enterprise-scale architectures, leading technical teams, and engaging with business stakeholders. Practical experience delivering solutions involving RAG, LangGraph, Agentic AI, OCR/Document AI, and end-to-end GenAI platforms is essential, along with a proven ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable, secure, and business-impacting products.

Key Responsibilities :

• AI Solution Architecture
• Design scalable AI solutions using modern LLM architectures.
• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms.
• Design multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Define enterprise AI reference architectures.
• Build AI-first products for document processing, knowledge management, search, and workflow automation.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and clients.

Technical Leadership :

• Lead a team of AI Engineers, Software Developers, ML Engineers, and Data Engineers.
• Perform architecture reviews and code reviews.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers.
• Drive Agile engineering practices.
• Own technical roadmap and delivery milestones.

People Leadership :

• Manage a team of 8–20 engineers.
• Mentor Technical Leads and Senior Developers.
• Conduct technical interviews.
• Own engineering excellence.
• Define coding standards.
• Drive innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Business teams.
• Manage project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
