About Digital Business and Transformation:

The Digital Business and Transformation (DBAT) team builds new end-to-end customer propositions with an ambition of delivering new age financial services directly to the customers. The DBAT team has invested in digital capabilities that include building the bank's own engineering team, adapting new age engineering practices and building an API centric architecture to improve customer experience, employee experience and efficiencies

About the Role:

The product manager is responsible for partnering with the business teams and customer journey owners to increase digital adoption by on-ground teams and customers. The Product Owner drives the customer experience vision across the bank by translating the voice of the customer, industry trends, and the strategic imperatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the AI product strategy aligned with Axis Bank's transformation roadmap and business objectives
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle for AI initiatives: market/tech research, ideation, business case, MVP, GTM, and drive adoption
  • Lead identification and prioritization of high-impact AI opportunities including WhatsApp Banking, GenAI chatbots, and Agentic AI platforms
  • Create Conversational AI journeys for WhatsApp Banking platform across service, cards, deposits, lending, payments, and support
  • Evangelize digital-first, AI-enabled banking throughout the organization and with external partners
  • Collaborate closely with data science, engineering, design, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, explainable, and compliant solutions
  • Define and drive product roadmaps, author PRDs, BRDs, QA testing, and ensure delivery against key success metrics
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of API productsfrom ideation, requirements gathering, and development to launch, and scaling

Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate Degree from a recognized institute
  • Experience as a digital product manager with a user-centred focus, preferably in a fast-paced start-up environment that runs in an agile manner
  • Good understanding of AI and ML technologies, including LLMs, NLP, AI Agents, Conversational AI, Voice Agents
  • Good knowledge of REST, OAuth, security guidelines, developer portals, and API management tools
  • Proven track record of launching successful products, particularly in SaaS or creative tools
  • Proven track record in working with Agile methodologies with experience in managing sprints, backlog JIRA etc.
