Responsibilities

The AI & Analytics Product manager is a strategic role responsible for driving the roadmap and execution of AI and Agentic AI initiatives across the APAC region. This role serves as the primary contact for AI-related project requests and collaborates closely with business and IT stakeholders to clarify use cases, assess business value, drive projects, and ensure alignment with DHL's AI governance and ethical standards.

A strong command of AI models and tools is essential to recommend the most effective solution to business challenges, and the role requires the ability to conduct prototyping and be hands-on when needed.
The Product Manager will interact regularly with Business stakeholders, providing strategic insights, updates, and recommendations to support decision-making and transformation goals.

The role oversees the full lifecycle of AI projects-from scoping and planning to delivery and enhancement-while fostering cross-regional partnerships to accelerate innovation and share best practices.

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Roadmap:

  • Lead the strategic roadmap and execution of the AI/Agentic AI portfolio across APAC, ensuring alignment with business goals and transformation priorities.
  • Act as one of the primary contact for AI initiative requests, managing intake, prioritization, and visibility across the region.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with other regions to share return on experience and accelerate innovation.

Project Delivery & AI Literacy:

  • Collaborate with technical teams and Operation partners to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects (including Agentic AI), covering scoping, planning, resource allocation, testing, risk management, and delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong technical fluency in AI/ML fundamentals, including LLMs, agent orchestration, and enterprise deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with internal AI governance, data privacy, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor deployed solutions, gather feedback, and lead continuous improvement.


Innovation Management

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external AI solution providers, ensuring quality and strategic fit.
  • Conduct hands-on prototyping and experimentation to validate solution approaches.
  • Track emerging AI trends and identify opportunities for experimentation and pilots.
  • Contribute to best practices and reusable frameworks for AI delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement

  • Identify and engage stakeholders across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Lead change management, including communication, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights to IT and APAC Leadership team
  • Functional management of cross-functional team members depending on the use case.

Requirements

Divisional Experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Experience navigating complex, global organizational structures.

Functional Experience

  • Strong AI/ML knowledge an d ability to recommend tailored models and tools.
  • Proven project management experience with large-scale digital or AI initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including C-level.
  • Hands-on prototyping and validation experience.
  • Change leadership capability.
  • Curious, pragmatic, and resilient.

Geographical Experience

  • Experience working across functions, countries, and regions.
  • Ability to engage in physical and virtual environments.


Education / Qualifications / Certifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years in product or project management, including 4+ in AI & analytics.
  • Expertise in LLMs, agentic AI, and enterprise ML tools.
  • PMP, Agile or AI certifications are a strong advantage.
