Job Purpose

The AI & Systems Implementation Specialist plays a key role in driving digital transformation and operational excellence across the organization. This role focuses on exploring, testing, and deploying cloud or hybrid business applications and AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize key systems such as HRIS and related platforms.

Working closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders, the Specialist will translate business requirements into practical technology solutions, develop proofs of concept, and implement tools that improve productivity, decision-making, and overall organizational performance. The role will report to Head of Technology

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies:
    • Research, test, and assess AI tools and digital platforms that enhance and automate newsroom e.g. transcription, editing etc and business operations e.g. HR & Finance processes.

    2. Manage system Integration & Data Interoperability

    • Work with implementation partners to connect HRMS, Finance ERP, Admin tools, and Media systems using APIs.
    • Support data synchronization across business systems.

    3. Lead technology adoption:

    • Conduct system demos, training sessions, and continuous user support for technical and non-technical users.
    • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure safe AI adoption.
    • Drive organizational awareness of emerging media and enterprise AI technologies.

    4. Document and simplify processes:

    • Develop clear documentation, optimize user journeys, and promote the adoption of standardized digital workflows.

    5. Monitor performance and user experience:

    • Monitor automation performance and system uptime, ensuring scalability and compliance.
    • Regularly review workflows for efficiency, latency, and data accuracy.

    6. Ensure governance and compliance:

    • Support adherence to data security standards, access controls, and overall digital governance policies.

    Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

    Skills and Qualifications Requirements

    • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in systems implementation, technical operations, or digital tools support.

    • Hands on experience of implementation of HRIS, ERP, CRM or similar business applications.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise workflow systems and business process automation.
    • Familiarity with AI technologies, cloud-based business applications, and API-driven integrations.
    • Awareness of data security, access management, and compliance frameworks.
    • Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical audience.
    • Proven ability to coordinate projects, manage vendor relationships, and ensure successful system rollouts.PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred.
    • Proactive problem solver with a self-starter mindset
    • Proactive, analytical, and self-driven approach to identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and improving processes.

    Technical Skills Required:

    • Strong understanding of AI and workflow automation frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with Automation
    • Familiarity with HRMS, ERP, Finance, and Admin management systems.
    • Experience implementing AI services and Automation
    • Awareness of data security, access management, and compliance frameworks.
