Role: AI Agentic Engineer (FDE – SAP Cloud & AI Solutions)
AI Agentic Engineer (5–10 yrs) embedded with clients as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), designing and delivering AI-first, cloud-native applications within the SAP ecosystem. Combines strong software engineering with applied AI (LLMs, agentic workflows) to build scalable, production-grade solutions on SAP BTP.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to identify use cases and translate them into AI-driven solutions
- Design and deliver end-to-end cloud-native applications on SAP BTP
- Build LLM-powered and agentic capabilities (RAG, hybrid retrieval, orchestration workflows)
- Integrate enterprise data and ML services into applications (SAP HANA, APIs, external systems)
- Develop and maintain scalable, multi-tenant architectures
- Ensure engineering excellence across security, performance, observability, and CI/CD
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, data, and architecture teams
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years in software engineering (cloud / enterprise / SaaS)
- Proven experience delivering multi-tenant, cloud-native applications
- Strong coding skills (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript)
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP HANA
- Experience building AI/LLM-enabled applications(RAG, APIs, integrations)
- Familiarity with agentic architectures / orchestration frameworks
- Experience with data platforms / pipelines (e.g., Databricks or similar)
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Nice to Have
- SAP S/4HANA or enterprise SAP application experience
- Vector databases / embeddings (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- MLOps / model lifecycle management
- Client-facing or consulting experience
