AI Agent Platform Engineer

Job Role - AI Agent Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Design and build AI agents, agent loops, tools, and orchestration workflows.
• Develop RAG solutions with a focus on chunking strategies, metadata filtering, and controlled vocabularies.
• Implement prompt engineering, versioning, evaluation, and model reasoning frameworks.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations using OpenAPI standards.
• Design event-driven backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Develop operational dashboards and user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes

Requirements

Competencies

• AI & Agent Engineering • Strong Python skills, including asyncio and async/await.
• Experience with:
• o Agent architectures and agent loops o MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• o Tool design and orchestration
• o RAG implementations o Prompt engineering and evaluation
• Familiarity with OpenAI and/or Anthropic agent frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and agent orchestration frameworks such as Strands. Backend & Distributed Systems
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MongoDB, including document modeling, transactions, and change streams.
• Experience with Kafka, including partitioning, consumer groups, DLQs, and delivery guarantees.
• Understanding of:
• o Optimistic concurrency control
• o Transactional Outbox pattern
• o Idempotent consumers
• o Exactly-once processing
• o Event-driven architectures Frontend & Cloud
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise AI platforms or agent-based applications.

• Strong understanding of distributed system consistency and reliability patterns.
