About the Adaptation Charter
The Adaptation Charter transforms fiction from diverse global source cultures into polished, culturally resonant, audio-first narratives for American listeners. Our work includes leveraging and developing AI-assisted solutions to blend story craft, narrative structure, and cultural intelligence to adapt long-form fiction shows at scale. In this role, you'll collaborate with AI Research teams as well as American content commissioning, programming, and editorial teams to analyse fiction narrative and improve writing quality.
What you'll do
- Help discover the next Instamillionaire, My Vampire System, The Return and Jack's Retribution!
- Work closely with the Content and Technology teams and leverage in-house AI tools to adapt shows and test their quality.
- Read our AI adapted shows to spot story flaws, improve adaptation quality and improve the funnel of shows for Pocket FM.
- Operate as a Script supervising or Continuity supervisor
What we need:
- Experience with fictional content, TV shows, books etc. is preferred
- Should have completed his/her Bachelor's degree
- Should have an interest for creative writing, literature and fiction
- Advanced knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.
- A knack for editing and proofreading, and a flair for writing
- The ability to work in a team with excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in American pop culture, movies and TV shows
- The ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences
- Comfortable in using Microsoft Office tools viz MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- This is a full time position - it may involve collaboration with our team in the US and occasionally working for US hours.
