Job Description

. Prepare production plans based on customer orders and forecasts (daily/weekly/monthly)
. Analyse capacity, machine loading, and manpower availability
. Develop production schedules to meet delivery timelines
. Coordinate with sales and customer service for demand planning

. Prepare material requirement plans (MRP)
. Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory
. Coordinate with respective dept to ensure timely material availability
. Reduce excess inventory and prevent stockouts

. Track daily production output vs plan
. Address bottlenecks, deviations, or delays in schedules
. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure machine availability
. Analyse downtime and recommend process improvements

Data Management
. Maintain production records, MIS reports, and planning dashboards
. Track OTIF (On Time In Full).
. Prepare monthly planning and performance analysis reports

Cross-functional Coordination
. Communicate planning updates to production, QA, purchase, and logistics teams
. Ensure smooth flow of materials throughout the manufacturing cycle

Technical Skills:
. Strong knowledge of production planning tools, MRP, ERP systems (Preferred Oracle)
. Understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning (CRP)
. Excel proficiency and analytical skills

. Good communication and coordination skills.
. Ability to work and manage multiple priorities.
