Job Description

COMPLIANCE
To ensure Indirect taxation related compliance (Customs and Foreign Trade Policy).
To maintain proper documentation related to Customs and DGFT procedures.
Liaison with Customs and DGFT department.
Compliance review and reporting.
To comply the provision of Free Trade Agreement and other provision in case of import.
Proper classification of imported and exported goods.
To avail maximum benefit of Customs/DGFT by adhering correct provision and duty exemption scheme.

CUSTOMS
Co-ordination with procurement team and marketing team regarding import and export consignments.
Filing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills as per provision of customs rules.
To arrange customs duty payment and differential customs duty on time to avoid interest loss and penalty.
To get final assessment of bills of entry and shipping bills.
To obtain customs duty refund on time.
To arrange to provide clarification/documents as per requirement of customs.
To ensure compliance of IDPMS (import data processing and monitoring system) as per RBI mandate.

DGFT
To obtain Advance Authorisations / EPCG authorization as per requirement of company with respect to import planning.
Proper monitoring of export and import under Advance Authorisation.
Timely compiling documents for submission for closure of authorizations.
Follow-up with DGFT for closure of Advance Authorisations.
To arrange amendment of authoristion as per requirement on time.
