Job Description

Job Purpose

To develop systems, processes and management practices for Mouda plant to enhance sales turn over and customer satisfaction through effective application of the system, including processes for assurance of conformity of product and continual improvement of the system

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Context:
Hindalco, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group has several vertically integrated Businesses from Bauxite extraction till rolling of Aluminium Ingots into Sheet Products, Foil Products and extruded sections. In the entire value chain, the Foilstock of Mouda FRP will be used as input to Mouda Foil Production. Mouda Foil is earmarked to produce the thinnest Foil gauge to cater the end use in Cigarette foil, Tetra pack foil and House Foil. Also it caters the end use of Laminated Foil for Pharmaceutical & Confectionaries packaging apart from the bare Foil market

Key Result Areas

KRA1	Develop the systems for measurement & continual improvement of internal & external customer satisfaction	. Customer Complaint Handling. Customer feedback analysis. . Sales Return analysis and action plan. . Investigate complaints and do corrective action
KRA2	Guide Process Engineers to implement projects to reduce internal & external rejections	Monitor and analyze recovery and rejections coil wise and do corrective action.
KRA3	Carry out responsibilities of Management Representative for Integrated Management System & Steer the Quality System in the Unit.	. Establish, document & facilitate implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System for certification and recertification. . Plan Internal Audit and invite External Certifying Agency for Audit. . Convene Management Review Meeting. . Impart IMS Training.
KRA4	Plan & implement systems for new product/customer developments in Foil.	. To prepare SOP for new product in foil. . To take trial of new product in coordination with Head Operations
