Job Description

Why this role exists

We organise reliable farm labour for horticulture (starting with Nashik's grape belt). Farmers get timely, skilled crews; workers get dignified, transparent jobs. We need a Marathi-fluent support executive with hands-on agriculture exposure to be the trusted voice between farmers, mukkadams (labour supervisors) and our field teams.

What you'll do

  • Farmer & Labour Helpline (Marathi-first): Handle inbound/outbound calls and WhatsApp for grape operations like pruning, shot tying, thinning, dipping, etc.
  • Booking orchestration: Convert validated requests into confirmed work orders; coordinate crew allocation with Field Ops; share reporting/SOPs.
  • Issue triage: Escalate absenteeism, quality disputes, transport delays, or accommodation issues to District/Field Ops; close the loop fast.
  • CRM hygiene: Log every interaction; tag crop, acreage, village/cluster, pruning/harvest window; maintain farmer and labour profiles.
  • Farmer education: Explain packages of practices, task windows, and labour readiness in clear Marathi aligned to the local horticulture calendar.
  • Season readiness: Run reminder cadences before pruning/harvest windows; nudge deposits and documentation.

Must-have (non-negotiable)

  • Fluent Marathi
  • Background in agriculture
  • Working knowledge of horticulture cycles (ideally grapes). You can converse with farmers about pruning windows and activity sequencing.
  • Comfort with tools: WhatsApp Business, basic CRMs, Google Sheets/Excel.

Nice to have

  • B.Sc. (Agri/Hort) or Diploma in Horticulture.
  • Experience with Nashik belt/FPCs, mukkadams, or labour contracting.
  • IVR/tele-support tools (e.g., Exotel), basic data entry speed, Marathi typing.
  • Prior customer support or telesales in agri services.
