Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Agri Telecaller to connect with farmers, agri-dealers, and other stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact, educating them about our products/services, solving queries, and supporting sales and onboarding efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to farmers, agri-dealers, and partners to promote agri-tech solutions.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing in a clear and effective manner.
- Collect and verify customer information accurately.
- Maintain call logs, lead data, and update CRM systems.
- Coordinate with the sales and field teams for follow-ups or escalations.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and support for users using the app/platform.
- Educate customers on how to use mobile applications or digital tools.
- Handle queries related to crop advisory, weather updates, input suggestions (based on company offerings).
- Provide daily reports and feedback to the team leads/managers.
Requirements
- Graduation in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or any relevant field (preferred).
- 1 - 3 years of experience in telecalling, preferably in agri-tech, input sales, or rural outreach.
- Excellent communication skills
- Worked in B2B supply side
- Knowledge of farming practices, agri-inputs, and rural customer behavior.
- Comfortable using mobile apps, CRM tools, and MS Office.
- Empathetic, patient, and persuasive speaking style.
Good To Have
- Prior experience in an agri-tech company or rural outreach programs.
- Exposure to digital farming platforms or agricultural advisory services.
- Multilingual communication skills.
