Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic agri graduates who are passionate about working with farmers, FPOs, and rural communities. As an Agri Sales & Outreach Associate, you will support our outreach for Soil Spectra, a 2-minute portable soil testing device used by FPOs to provide scientific fertiliser advisory to farmers.

This is a customer-facing, learning-rich role suitable for freshers who want to build a career in agribusiness, FPO development, and agri-tech adoption.

Base location will be Vidarbha, with frequent travel across districts such as Nagpur, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Akola, Washim, Buldhana, Chandrapur, and nearby villages.

  • Reach out to FPOs, FPCs, CBBOs, agri dealers, NGOs and partner networks across the Vidarbha region to introduce Soil Spectra and generate initial interest.
  • Schedule and conduct online/offline demos with FPO Directors, field staff, and farmer groups; assist in on-ground trials and awareness programs.
  • Travel extensively across villages and FPO clusters in Vidarbha to execute demos, soil camps, exhibitions, and community outreach activities.
  • Explain Soil Spectra features in simple regional language, support basic training for FPO staff, and help farmers use the device during field demonstrations.
  • Maintain lead lists/CRM, follow up with FPOs, collect feedback, challenges, and local insights to strengthen adoption and improve engagement.
  • Support senior sales and product teams in proposals, documentation, onboarding, and calibration-related field activities (if required).
  • Execute planned field activities independently, ensuring timely coordination with FPOs, partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications

Educational Background (Preferred):

B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture

B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering

B.Sc. Forestry / Agri Biotechnology

Rural Management / Agribusiness graduates

OR any graduate with strong interest in agriculture

Skills Required:

Good communication in Marathi + Hindi (English optional)

Basic understanding of soil, fertilisers, and cropping systems

Comfortable with phone-based outreach + field visits

Strong follow-up habits

Eagerness to learn sales and agri advisory

Ability to work independently with guidance
