Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for an Agri Advisor specializing in BSc Agriculture experience. Key responsibilities include advising farmers on the usage of bio-organic products, providing technical support, conducting field demonstrations, and driving awareness about residue-free and sustainable agricultural practices. The role requires close collaboration with farming communities, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), and agripreneurs to promote the adoption of eco-friendly solutions. Additionally, the Agri Advisor will monitor agricultural conditions, analyze crop data, and provide actionable recommendations to improve yield and soil health.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Agriculture (BSc Agriculture) with proven field and advisory experience in the agricultural domain
  • Knowledge of bio-organic products, biopesticides, and sustainable farming practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with farmers, FPOs, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct field demonstrations and deliver technical training sessions for various audiences
  • Proficient analytical skills to assess crop health, soil conditions, and provide data-driven insights
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in organic and residue-free farming is advantageous
  • Proficiency in regional languages and culturally sensitive communication is preferred
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently onsite and in the field
