Job Description

  1. Candidate can be located in Mumbai and deal specifically with customers in South in Chennai or Hyderabad or Bengaluru or even in Visakhapatnam or Vijaywada.
  2. Based in Bangalore & Responsible for branches & resident representatives in South -India sales and business development of industrial and electrical products.
  3. Handle key account management, channel sales, distributor management, and corporate sales.
  4. Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial quotations, negotiate orders, and ensure consistent order inflow.
  5. Coordinate with production planning, order processing, dispatch, and accounts for timely execution.
  6. Manage credit control, payment follow-ups, and adherence to commercial terms.
  7. Support sales team performance, customer relationship management (CRM), and market expansion.
  8. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

8.The AGM- Sales and Marketing / Regional Sales Manager South will be based in Bangalore & is expected to:

i) Organize for growth of sales by more thyan10-11% annually & help the Co. achieve target 100 Cr

ii) Organize sales team in North India particularly where the Co. has

less presence at present

iii) Train the sales team to achieve targets. Conduct sales meets, motivate

them to achieve targets and plan/design incentives if required

iv) Ensure constant inflow of orders of B2B type for Cable trays manufacturing.

v) Ensure leadership position of the company in the market space

vi)Make sales expenditure budget (sales staff salaries, exhibitions,

incentives, travel etc) and control this budget.

vii) Organize sales promotion activities like catalogues, Websites, handle

exhibitions and other sales support activities.

viii) Ensure that quotations are made in time and as per method approved

by the Directors. Participate in negotiations for finalizing orders

ix) Ensure that standard procedures stated for Order Acknowledgement etc are followed

x) Ensure that Credit control is implemented and payments are collected

promptly well within credit period agreed with customer. Perform credit

appraisals for fixing credit limits for customers

xi) Ensure the customer's orders are made as agreed and negotiated.

Ensure that commercial terms are clear and understood by the entire

team processing the orders.

xii) Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, accounts & Directors.
