AGM - Inventory, OSS (L2 level)

Job Purpose

1. Preparing Network Architecture and Services Guidelines for Circle IP/MPLS Network.
2. Collaborate closely with vendor product management teams to fulfill network architectural and capacity requirements.
3. Continuously analyze network performance of deployed networks to enhance service experience for VIL Customers.

Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas

1. Maintaining network capacity of Circle IP/MPLS Network based on business projections for various mobility and enterprise services.
2. Preparing and maintaining detailed network topology diagrams and designs.
3. Publishing network utilization reports and dashboards for the product planning team to ensure timely upgrades.
4. Regular network and traffic optimizations for cost savings.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience, Technical / Professional Qualifications

1. End-to-end IP planning, optimization, and performance management of IP/MPLS networks, including knowledge of various multivendor systems.
2. Designing and expanding IP/MPLS networks using high-capacity, advanced products and solutions across all VIL circles.
3. Introducing new features to achieve high capacity, quality of service, and operational efficiencies periodically.
4. Modernizing the network to meet business requirements with the most optimized CAPEX solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Performance Indicators

1. Number of highly utilized links 3% of total network interfaces for the given region.
2. Number of capacity expansions completed within TAT.

Key Qualifications and Experience

1. 5-10 years of experience in designing large IP Telco networks with the latest IP products.
2. Technical knowledge of IP/MPLS, routing protocols, and latest IP technologies like Segment Routing, QoS, various redundancy protocols, etc.
3. Preferred network certifications in IP technologies such as CCNA, CCIE, JNCIE, etc.
4. Experience in IP infrastructure planning, configuration, provisioning, and network development.
5. Must be updated with the latest IP technologies and products.
6. Transport knowledge is an added advantage.
7. Preference for women applicants.
