Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and experienced AGM – Interior Design to lead the interior design
function for our luxury residential and high-rise projects. The role will be responsible for
conceptualizing, planning, and executing world-class interior designs while ensuring alignment
with project timelines, budgets, and the brand's design philosophy.
The ideal candidate will possess strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, project
management capabilities, and proven leadership experience in luxury residential interiors.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end interior design process from concept development to project
handover.
- Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically superior interior design solutions for
luxury residential projects.
- Ensure consistency with the company's design standards and brand identity.
Project Design & Execution
- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, material specifications, furniture
selections, and detailed drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, procurement, and execution teams to
ensure seamless implementation.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure design quality and adherence to approved
specifications.
Vendor & Consultant Management
- Manage external interior consultants, design agencies, and specialized vendors.
- Evaluate materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and décor selections.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve optimum quality and commercial value.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Interior Design team.
- Allocate resources, monitor project progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven work culture.
Quality & Innovation
- Drive innovation by incorporating global design trends, sustainable materials, and
modern construction practices.
- Ensure superior quality, functionality, and customer experience across all projects.
- Support value engineering initiatives without compromising design excellence.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior leadership, project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure
successful project delivery.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in interior design for luxury residential and high
rise real estate projects.
- Proven experience in leading interior design teams and managing multiple projects
simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of premium materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and luxury interior
trends.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, or other relevant
design software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management
skills.
