The Role
This role will shape how people, teams, and culture come together as the organization grows, with clear accountability for building a strong and stable workforce. You will work closely across the organization to create a positive, performance-driven environment and ensure that people practices are effective and meaningful on the ground.
The role offers the opportunity to bring in fresh thinking, establish simple and practical HR practices, and be accountable for developing talent, strengthening capabilities, and creating a workplace where people feel engaged, responsible, and proud of what they build together.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to shape and drive a people strategy aligned with business growth and plant priorities
- Build and nurture a positive, performance-driven, and disciplined work culture across the organization
- Bring in and implement HR best practices in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement
- Lead hiring across levels with focus on quality talent, strong cultural fit, succession planning, and long-term capability building
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and communication practices to create a motivated workforce
- Strengthen learning & development initiatives to build technical and leadership capabilities across teams
- Establish effective performance management processes to improve accountability and productivity
- Ensure strong industrial relations by maintaining trust, discipline, and workforce stability on the shopfloor
- Drive compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Monitor payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, manpower planning, and HR operations through HRMS/Keka
- Build efficient HR operations and processes that are simple, structured, and scalable
- Use HR data and insights (attrition, hiring, productivity) to continuously improve people practices and support decision-making
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in manufacturing HR, with ability to manage both people and business needs
- Proven capability in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and building strong teams
- Good exposure to learning & development and capability building, especially for technical and plant workforce
- Ability to drive a performance-oriented and positive work culture
- Practical understanding of industrial relations and compliance, with a balanced, solution-oriented approach
- A hands-on leader who can partner with business, bring best practices, and keep HR simple and effective
