Job Profile: Head – Leasing

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leasing professional to lead the leasing function for our real estate portfolio. The role requires acquiring new business for leasing of office space with quality clients and achieve yearly leasing targets defined as per business plans during the financial year.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute leasing strategies aligned with business objectives and portfolio positioning.
- Drive occupancy and revenue targets for commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.
- Identify and onboard prospective tenants, anchor brands, corporates, and retail partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, rental benchmarks, and customer demand to optimize leasing decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial terms to maximize asset value and profitability.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, IPCs, corporate clients, retailers, and channel partners.
- Lead negotiations for lease agreements, renewals, expansions, and closures.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to enhance portfolio performance.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, networking events, and client meetings.
Tenant Relationship Management
- Ensure high tenant satisfaction and long-term tenant retention.
- Address tenant concerns and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
- Monitor tenant performance, renewals, escalations, and lease compliance.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the leasing team to achieve organizational goals.
- Set KRAs/KPIs and monitor team performance regularly.
- Foster a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
Coordination & Compliance
- Work closely with legal, finance, projects, marketing, and operations teams for seamless execution of leasing activities.
- Ensure lease documentation, approvals, and compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate leasing MIS, pipeline reports, occupancy dashboards, and forecasting models.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in leasing within commercial real estate, retail malls, office spaces, or mixed-use developments.
- Proven track record of successfully closing large leasing deals and achieving occupancy targets.
- Strong network with corporates, retail brands, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
Key Skills
- 15-20 years or more relevant experience in Office Leasing & Business development
- Proven track record of large deals with MNCs / Developer on end to end basis
- Should have handled project leasing as a city lead
