Job Description

Integrated Steel Plant Operations

  • Managed project and material planning for major units including Melt Shop, Caster, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, Corex, and EAF.
  • Commissioned LRF and Vacuum Degassing units and oversaw all operations in EOF, LRF, VD, CCM, including tundish planning, ladle management, quality, safety, and breakdown handling.
  • Acted as Senior Shift In-charge in the Steel Melting Shop, ensuring smooth production and inter-agency coordination.
  • Developed technology charts for various grades of alloy steels and coordinated Steel Melt Shop shutdowns across departments.
  • Monitored and executed steel melt shop projects, covering erection, commissioning, and production.
  • Oversaw projects in the iron zone including sinter plant, blast furnace, oxygen plant, and power plant.

Project Management

  • Executed greenfield and brownfield projects from planning and scheduling to commissioning within defined timelines and budgets.

  • Led plant upgrades, de-bottlenecking, and expansion initiatives for productivity improvement.

  • Managed engineering systems to integrate manpower and materials effectively for project execution.
