Head – Joy Premium

(Building Materials Industry)

Role Purpose

Head – Joy Premium will be responsible for driving business growth through premium residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and high-value infrastructure projects. The role involves leading project sales strategy, managing key stakeholder relationships, driving specification business, and ensuring conversion of premium projects into revenue opportunities.

The incumbent will work closely with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners to strengthen the company's presence in the premium projects segment.

Key Responsibilities

Premium Project Sales & Business Development

  • Lead sales and business development initiatives for premium and high-value projects.
  • Identify and secure business opportunities in luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and institutional projects.
  • Drive specification-based sales through architects, consultants, and interior designers.
  • Develop and execute project acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor project pipelines and ensure timely conversion into revenue.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with:
    • Architects
    • Interior Designers
    • Builders & Developers
    • Project Management Consultants (PMC)
    • Contractors
    • Corporate Clients
  • Develop strategic engagement plans for key accounts and influencers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership & Sales Management

  • Lead and mentor regional/project sales teams.
  • Define sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Review sales performance and drive corrective actions wherever required.
  • Build a high-performance and result-oriented sales culture.

Channel & Market Development

  • Collaborate with channel partners and distributors for project execution support.
  • Strengthen market penetration in premium and emerging project segments.
  • Identify new business territories and growth opportunities.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop annual sales plans, business forecasts, and growth strategies for the premium projects vertical.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for brand positioning in premium segments.
  • Work with product and technical teams to ensure solution-oriented selling.

Project Coordination & Execution Support

  • Ensure seamless coordination between sales, supply chain, technical support, and project execution teams.
  • Monitor project timelines, approvals, and commercial closures.
  • Resolve customer concerns and support smooth project deliveries.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Minimum 15–18 years of experience in:
    • Project Sales
    • Specification Sales
    • Business Development
    • Key Account Management within the Building Materials or allied industries.
