Job Description

  • Lead and manage the complete Human Resources function for Pharmaceutical API manufacturing facilities and Research & Development centers.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, business growth plans, and workforce requirements.
  • Partner with senior leadership teams to drive manpower planning, workforce optimization, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Lead HR transformation projects, organizational development programs, and change management initiatives.
  • Develop succession planning frameworks and leadership development programs to build future talent pipelines.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition for Manufacturing, QA/QC, Quality Assurance, R&D, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Corporate functions.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and strategic positions across manufacturing and research operations.
  • Collaborate with department heads on workforce forecasting, hiring plans, and manpower budgeting.
  • Drive employee relations initiatives and ensure effective grievance handling and disciplinary management processes.
  • Maintain positive industrial relations across manufacturing plants and research facilities.
  • Liaise with labour authorities, government agencies, unions, and statutory bodies as required.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, standing orders, industrial regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance management, leave administration, employee records, and HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, CLRA, POSH, and other applicable labour laws.
  • Conduct HR audits and maintain HR documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Lead performance management processes including KPI development, goal setting, appraisal cycles, and performance reviews.
  • Identify organizational training needs and implement learning and development programs.
  • Drive competency mapping, capability building, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Design and execute employee engagement, retention, recognition, and wellness programs.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture focused on productivity, employee satisfaction, ethics, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead diversity, inclusion, ethics, and organizational values initiatives across the organization.
  • Utilize HR analytics, dashboards, and HRMS systems to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
