As an Agility Senior Associate at JPMorgan Chase within Commercial and Investment Bank, you will contribute to the team by guiding and supporting solution delivery teams in adopting and adapting agile practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of agile principles you will facilitate group discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities to build continuous improvement and high performance. Your expertise in coaching, communication, and leadership will enable you to effectively manage complex projects, foster a culture of innovation, and enable the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Guide teams and product owners to work smarter by focusing on outcomes rather than just following agile ceremonies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical, organizational, or process-related impediments to keep teams moving forward.
  • Foster a culture of openness, safety, and collaboration, encouraging early issue-raising and learning from smart failures.
  • Use data and team feedback to find opportunities for improvement, streamline delivery, and minimize waste.
  • Lead team events and discussions with a practical approach, helping teams self-organize and make context-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, product owners, and stakeholders to align on goals, priorities, and effective ways of working

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on guiding teams to adopt agile methodologies and practices
  • Experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management
  • Adapt your approach as needed, knowing when to follow frameworks and when to be flexible in ambiguous situations.
  • Understand modern engineering practices like CI/CD, automated testing, cloud, and APIs, and communicate effectively with developers.
  • Build strong relationships at all levels, facilitate challenging conversations, and simplify complex topics.
  • Use metrics and feedback to drive meaningful improvements rather than just meeting requirements.
  • Continuously seek new ways to help teams grow and achieve better results.
  • Recognize team dynamics and influence outcomes without formal authority, while connecting product management, Lean operations, or portfolio management to deliver end-to-end value.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training on Agile coaching, such as recognized coaching certifications
  • Experience with scaling agile in large organizations (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, etc.)
  • Exposure to Lean, DevOps, or product management practices
  • Certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe
