Success in this role means delivering robust, efficient, and maintainable code that powers intelligent applications impacting business decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and front-end engineers, to translate complex data insights into actionable software solutions. This position plays a critical role in driving advanced analytics capabilities that enable our clients AI initiatives end-to-end. What will your role look like - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django and Flask. - Implement efficient data processing workflows leveraging data structures and libraries like NumPy and Pandas. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters. - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following object-oriented programming principles. - Optimize backend performance and scalability to handle large datasets typical of retail analytics. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Work closely with data science teams to integrate machine learning models and analytics pipelines. You will need: - Demonstrate 2-5 years of professional experience in backend development primarily using Python. - Possess a BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized institution. - Exhibit strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOPS) concepts. - Proficiently use Python frameworks such as Django and Flask to build web services. - Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries like NumPy and Pandas. - Understand container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes. - Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to collaborative development. Good to Have Skills: - Familiarity with retail domain analytics and related business processes. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of RESTful API design and security best practices. - Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools. - Working knowledge of frontend technologies to facilitate seamless integration.
