Role Description: The Agentic AI Java Architect role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing and overseeing advanced, agentic AI-driven systems built on Java and related technologies. This role involves defining scalable application architectures, selecting appropriate design patterns, and guiding the implementation of microservices-based solutions. The architect collaborates closely with development teams, product stakeholders, and other technical leaders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Software Development and Architecture, with experience designing large, distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns and their practical application in enterprise Java solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with Microservices, including service decomposition, communication patterns, and resiliency.
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in or exposure to AI/agentic systems, event-driven architectures, or intelligent workflow orchestration is highly desirable.
• Ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Track record of mentoring engineers, conducting architectural reviews, and establishing coding and design standards.
• Experience in high-availability, secure, and performance-sensitive systems, including familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
